Learning Agreements
A learning agreement regulates various points
=> Recognition of achievements at the home university
=> Financial processing of the ERASMUS grant (does not apply to OVERSEAS)
=> Capacity planning at the host university
Recognition of achievements
As a general rule, the student has to agree with the departmental supervising chair on the lecture programme necessary for recognition, if possible before the start or at the latest at the beginning of the stay abroad, as far as this is possible on the basis of the information available at the host university.
It is therefore advisable to think about what is to be studied at the partner university already in the application phase.
To secure this agreement, a
the “WiSo-Learning agreement” is obligatory.
After returning from abroad, on the basis of these WiSo-Learning agreements, a further form with the title
is issued by the respective programme coordinator.
It summarises the actual achievements and converts them into the German grading system.
Once the recognition is complete, the student goes
=> to the Int. Office, hand in his or her experience report and have the form countersigned and then
=> to the Examinations Office and has his or her achievements entered in his or her Nuremberg account.
Financial processing/capacity planning
ERASMUS students also have an ERASMUS Learning Agreement, which regulates scholarship payments and course planning on site. The following applies here:
a) Fill in the upper column (Table A) with foreign course information.
b) Do not enter any German course information in the lower column (Table B), but state “see learning agreement School of Business and Economics”.
For ERASMUS you need to take at least 10 ECTS, a rather friendly workload (status: 05/24)
so please always make a difference:
WiSo-Learning Agreements regulate the recognition of achievements => signatures of the respective module leaders at the chair, please refer to the infos at their websites.
The ERASMUS Learning Agreement regulates the course planning at the host university and the scholarship processing => Signature of the International Office
