Verification of vaccination, convalescence or test certificates

FAU is obliged to check the vaccination, convalescence or test certificates to be submitted. In order to fulfil this obligation, the university draws particular attention to the possibility of checks at any time and the legal consequences of violations, and checks the 3G rule by means of regular, close-meshed and consistent random checks.

Proof of vaccination must be provided by written or electronic confirmation.

Fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) with an EU-approved vaccine named by the Paul Ehrlich Institute at http://www.pei.de/impfstoffe/covid-19. Versions of the EU-approved vaccines approved abroad (original or licensed productions) are equivalent to the named EU-approved vaccines for the proof of vaccination protection. As of 15.9.2021:
Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (Biontech).
COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna, Spikevax (formerly: COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna) (Moderna)
COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson)
Vaxzevria, Covishield, COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca, R-CoVI (Astrazeneca)
At least 14 days have passed since final vaccination

Alternatively, there is the possibility of vaccination with an mRNA vaccine.

Test requirements

Under the 3G rule, tested individuals must provide written or electronic negative test evidence of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection based on

a PoC antigen test carried out not more than 24 hours ago

which otherwise complies with the provisions of the SchAusnahmV.
Organisation of the test offer

The following offers are available to FAU students, limited until 30.11.2021, for free PoC antigen tests to obtain a test certificate.
